Our history

St Luke’s church was founded on Greenleaf Road, Walthamstow in 1902.

In 2006 we became a church on the High Street and for 16 years, St Luke’s served Walthamstow Farmers’ Market every Sunday morning, providing free tea & coffee, home-made cakes and holding out hope.

We were sad to leave our space in the Farmers’ Market in December 2023 but we continue to meet locally and all are welcome to join us.

Are you interested in how the church can reach the wider Walthamstow community? Do you have some ideas already?

We would love to hear from you.

Please get in touch!
